Draft for professional review
Privacy policy.
This draft explains the intended handling of personal information on pride-and-pixel.com. It is not legal advice.
Operator name, Japanese address, privacy email, retention schedule and final processor list must be completed before launch.
Information we expect to collect
- Contact and order details, such as name and email address
- Order, payment status and purchased-product records
- Support messages and commission briefs
- Private reference files submitted for custom artwork
- Consent records for optional marketing email
- Technical and security data such as IP address, browser information and access logs
How it will be used
Information will be used to process orders, deliver secure downloads, answer support requests, produce commissioned work, prevent fraud, maintain site security, meet accounting or legal duties, and—only with explicit consent—send marketing email.
Payments and service providers
Card information will be handled by Stripe rather than stored by Pride & Pixel. Hosting, Fastmail and security providers support the service. If enabled, the Pride & Pixel Google Tag Manager container may pass pseudonymous usage and event data to approved analytics services. This implementation does not enable advertising personalisation signals by default.
Sharing, retention and rights
Personal information will not be sold. It may be disclosed where necessary to provide the service, comply with law, protect rights or complete a legitimate business transfer. Data will be retained only for defined operational, tax, dispute and legal periods.
Customers may contact the privacy address to request access, correction, deletion or other rights available under applicable law. Identity may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled.
Cookies and international processing
Essential cookies may support authentication, checkout and security. Analytics tags managed through Google Tag Manager may load automatically where permitted by the visitor’s location; in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, they remain disabled until an explicit analytics choice is made. No advertising personalisation signals are enabled by default. Some approved providers may process data outside Japan; applicable safeguards and notices will be documented before production launch.
